On June 19, 2025, in order to deepen the integration of industry and education and empower the training of a new generation of engineering and technical talents, Huadong Industry Control, a well-known domestic enterprise in the field of industrial automation, welcomed a group of energetic visitors – more than 100 students from Zhongyuan University of Technology’s measurement and control technology and instruments, software engineering, automation and other majors, carried out a rich cognitive internship activity in the company, and got close to the pulse of the forefront of industrial automation.
During the period, Huadong Industry Control engineers systematically introduced its core business to teachers and students, focusing on the fields of industrial automation control system integration, intelligent equipment research and development, and high-end customized intelligent manufacturing solutions. Through detailed cases, the company’s technological breakthroughs and implementation results in key scenarios such as process industrial control, discrete manufacturing intelligence, equipment remote monitoring and predictive maintenance were explained.
After the theoretical explanation, the cognitive internship ushered in the most impactful part – a field visit to the core production workshop and laboratory of Huadong Industry Control. The engineer explained in detail how PLC coordinates the robot arm to complete precision assembly, how the inverter accurately controls the motor speed, and how the sensor network provides real-time feedback on the equipment status.
This cognitive internship effectively built a bridge between “theory-practice-industry”. In the future, Huadong Industry Control will continue to expand its diversified cooperation with universities, deepen collaborative education through co-building laboratories, targeted training, and project cooperation, and provide solid talent support for accelerating the process of new industrialization.
