At Huadong Industry Control, we treat quality as our primary responsibility. Every cabinet we build passes through three rigorous inspection stages before it leaves our factory. This systematic approach ensures that what you receive is not just a cabinet – it is a reliable, ready-to-run component of your equipment.
Checkpoint 1 – Component and Assembly Verification
The first stage begins before any wiring takes place. We verify every component against your approved bill of materials – PLCs, drives, breakers, contactors, terminals, and accessories. Each part is checked for correct model number, rating, and authenticity (genuine brands, sourced from authorised distributors). We also inspect the enclosure itself – dimensions, material thickness, coating quality, and IP rating compliance.
During assembly, our skilled technicians follow your approved layout drawings. Mounting positions, component orientation, and mechanical clearances are checked against the 3D design. Cable ducts are installed neatly, and all hardware is torqued to specification. This stage catches potential issues before wiring begins – saving time and preventing rework later.
Checkpoint 2 – Electrical and Safety Testing
Once assembly and wiring are complete, every cabinet enters our test bay for comprehensive electrical verification. This includes:
Insulation resistance test: Ensures that live parts are properly isolated from earth and from each other.
Dielectric withstand test: Verifies that insulation can handle temporary overvoltages without breakdown.
Continuity and polarity checks: Confirms that all connections are correct and protective earthing is intact.
Protection device verification: Every circuit breaker, relay, and fuse is tested to ensure it trips at the correct threshold.
We record all test results in a structured report. Any deviation triggers immediate investigation and correction. Only cabinets that pass these tests proceed to the next stage.
Checkpoint 3 – Functional and Communication Testing
The final stage is the most important – we prove that the cabinet works as designed. We connect simulated field devices (motors, sensors, actuators) to verify:
All control logic executes correctly (start/stop sequences, interlocks, alarms)
Protection relays respond appropriately to simulated fault conditions
Communication interfaces (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.) exchange data correctly with a test PLC or SCADA system
HMI displays show accurate readings and respond to operator inputs
This is our factory acceptance test (FAT). We invite you to witness it in person or via live video. You see every function verified before we pack the cabinet for shipment. A signed test report and as-built documentation are included with delivery.
